The Academic Staff College, University of Pune, since its inception in 1987, has been providing opportunities to the senior college and university teachers for their academic development. Amongst 51 Academic Staff Colleges functioning so far all over India, the University of Pune Academic Staff College occupies the TOP POSITION in the list; both in terms of number of programmes organised by it . |

programmes Till date, the Academic Staff College, University
of Pune, has successfully organised 434 refresher programmes
belonging to various disciplines covering the faculties
of Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering, Law, Physical
Education, Science, Social Science, etc. Through these
434 refresher programmes, the Academic Staff College,
University of Pune, provided opportunities to 14550 teachers
for their academic development. Besides the subject oriented
refresher programmes, the Academic Staff College has been
routinely organising orientation programmes for young
senior college and university teachers. Till date, 128
orientation programmes have been organised by this Academic
Staff College and, thus, provided opportunity to 4655
young teachers for their academic development. While doing
so, the Academic Staff College, University of Pune, has
observed best possible financial norms to maintain reasonably
low participant cost, that comes around Rs. 5,968/-. Thus,
in less money, the Academic Staff College has provided
opportunities to the highest number of senior college
and university teachers (4655 Orientation and 14550 Refresher)
through highest number of programmes (128 Orientation
and 434 Refresher Programmes) for their academic development. |
