Q1	What is the Eligibility for participating in Orientation Programme ?
	Newly appointed teachers upto 6 years of teaching experience are eligible for Orientation Programme.

Q2	What is the Eligibility for participating in Refresher Programme ?
	The teacher must complete one orientation programme, thereafter a gap of one year such a teacher may opt for Refresher Programme.

Q3	How many Number of courses Essential for Teacher for Career Advancement ?
	For Senior Scale : One Orientation Programme. One Refresher Programme
	For Selection Grade : Two (2) Refresher Courses are required after the date of placement in senior scale.

Q4	Is there Exemption from the courses ?
	Newly appointed teacher with Ph.D. degree is exempted from participation in one refresher course for placement in senior scale, however, participation in One orientation programme is mandatory.

Q5	Is there any Special Provisions ?
	Teachers can attend more than one refresher and if required,
	Orientation programme in one academic year if their promotion is withheld.
	Teacher can attend any number of refresher programmes in his/her life time if he/she has desire to learn more or update knowledge.
